How embarrassing was it to have the black hair weave industry made fun of by the hilarious comedian "Chris Rock" in his film documentary, "Good Hair"?
Although the film was lighthearted and informative, it may have brought even greater attention to the billion dollar industry of hair weave, and excited thieves, who are now turning their focus on beauty supply store owners. As funny as the movie was, we can not discount the real crime here. A business owner has been murdered! We also can not place blame on the documentary for examining some truths about the industry. We shoud be careful about what we expose.....but who would think that selling hair was as dangerous as this. At Johnson's Beauty & Barber, we promote YOUR healthy hair...but if some of us choose to WEAVE it, you should not have to loo twice before getting into your car leaving the beauty supply shop!!!! This is terrible! ! .... And once again, could drive up the cost of products and services to consumers!!!
On a lighter note.... these incedents could spark a MAJOR WEAVE LOCK-DOWN IN STORES EVERYWHERE.
So don't be surprised if you have to buy it from
behind a glass window!!! :)
